Proud - Peers for Pride

This past year I have had the great opportunity of being a part of the Peers for Pride, which is a two semester program through UT's Gender and Sexuality Center. During our first semester we learned about many identities in the Queer (LGBTQ) community and the second semester was used to perform monologues we created to educate others and advocate for the LGBTQ community.

I am excited for the work that lies ahead. On campus, Austin, or around. I want to create something that can help others become of aware of an Ally and the work it takes. I've had an absolutely awesome experience with this program. I look forward to see where it goes and the advocates it creates.
